Where Are World Race Alumni Now?
Will Miller (June '09) and Jodi Greenlee (Aug. '09) are both working in The Philippines with ministries they connected with on their World Race. Jodi is helping open a rehabilitation center with young prison inmates.
Stephanie Fisk (Jan. '07) is coming on staff with the G42 Leadership Academy and has started her own ministry ARISE2FREEDOM. Her heart is for discipleship, women and children trapped in prostitution, and serving the poor.
Lynette Lee (Jan. '07) and Jane Kim (June. '07) have founded an organization called Corridor of Hope. Their organization buys jewelry and other crafts made by the poor overseas, and funnels the profits back into ministries and other care for the orphans, poor, needy, and broken around the world.
Sharon Price (Oct. '08) is teaching English and ministering to students in Budapest Hungary.
Jackie Zuiderhof (Sept. '07) is teaching English in Japan and working with students.
Jessica Bauman (Jan. '09) works with juvenile offenders in a therapeutic residential facility in Missouri.
Shanda Dodd (July '08), Michelle Thompson (Jan. '08), and Tara Stephenson (July '08) are all on staff with the G42 Leadership Academy in Mijas, Spain.
Amanda Dums (Jan. '07) is attending Bethel School of Ministry in Redding, CA. She follows in the footsteps of Julie Lortz (June '07).
Morgan McKeown (Jan. '07) and her sister Molly have founded Fill-A-Belly. Their ministry reaches out to the homeless in southern California.
Johnny and Marissa Pratt (July '08) have started their own organization with some friends called Bike Raising. Bike Raising is a non-profit cycling event promoter who generates funds and awareness for forgotten people in lost places of the world.
Lisa Smith (July '08) is serving on the field in Nicaragua working with youth groups and street kids.
Michelle Johnson (Aug. '09) recently started an internship with an anti-human trafficking organization in California.
Brian and Stacy Alonzo (July '08) have bought and opened a community and ministry house in Ohio. Several WR Alumni have recently joined them, and more are on the way!
Music artist Chris Telfer (Jan. '07) just released his first album, Rooted Deep. He's an amazing guitar player, vocalist, and the lyrics are divinely inspired. Kim Daniels (Jan. '08) accompanies on some of the tracks, and his wife Jenny (Jan. '07) supports him 100%. Look him up on iTunes.
Melanie Dodson (Aug. '09) recently began a job with International Justice Mission.
Beks Cassinari (Aug. '09) is doing an internship with Invisible Children as a "Roadie."
Halley Power (Aug. '09) came home and got a job as a Missions Director at a Christian Camp.
Many World Race Alumni have graduated from the G42 Leadership Academy in Mijas, Spain. Squads of Racers have benefited from the leadership and direction of their World Race Alumni Squad Leaders. They include: Chad Mast, Allison Johnston, Jake Rodriguez, Stephanie Fisk, Rusty Jackson, Ashley Musick, Jenny Brown, Patrice Deaton, Gretchen Kiehlbaugh, Caroline Crawford, Aaron Bruner, Brian and Stacy Alonzo, Caitlin Woodward, Andi Wendel, Sean Smith, Mark Schandel, Kyla Cornelius, Tara Stephenson, Robby Riggs, Jacob Hoyer, Janina Laier, Kim Hillebrand, Tiffany Berkowitz, Patrick Baez, Di Dinnis, Tim Dixon, Lauren Williamson, Abby Barnett, and Tim Fizzell.
